Solid Academic Foundation
CollegeScope is the first program founded in social sciences and career development theory that incorporates personality type, learning styles and multiple intelligences theory. Do What You Are®, The PEPS Learning Style Inventory and MI Advantage assessment results are fully integrated with the CollegeScope curriculum. Students love that the user-friendly interactive electronic textbook is available in their secure portfolio anywhere, any time through the Internet and that the content moves quick from theory to practical application. The program includes activities, self-scoring quizzes, and journal entries in every chapter to develop critical thinking skills by reflecting on the material and applying it to their own lives.

Written by Dr. Marsha Fralick, CollegeScope incorporates over 30 years of classroom experience teaching college success courses and was designed to maximize student-teacher interaction. Educators, counselors and advisors each have personal accounts where they can access their students’ portfolios. The ability to track progress and manage classes also allows for early identification of at-risk students with low motivation so appropriate action can be taken.
All professional users receive full technical and curriculum training so you can get the most out of CollegeScope. Extensive resources are available, from additional classroom exercises to student assignments and more. If a question arises our friendly customer service staff will be happy to help you over the phone or by email.
Easy to Implement and Use
CollegeScope costs nothing for institutions to use. Instead, the program is sold directly to students, just like a traditional textbook. The price of the program per student is considerably less expensive than most textbooks. Students can purchase their individual portfolios through your bookstore or by credit card or debit card from Human eSources.
CollegeScope has been approved for credit transfer at a number of institutions and is recommended as a three-credit course to encourage student enrollment. The program can be delivered via traditional face-to-face, distance learning, or a hybrid of both methods. CollegeScope may be used by a number of departments with a variety of initiatives aimed at student success and persistence, including:
- First-Year Experience Programs
- Student Success classes
- High school-to-college transition courses, dual credit courses, and college readiness programs
- Outreach classes for at-risk populations
- Academic probation initiatives
- Career Development classes
